CA won handily over Wibraham Monson Academy by a score of 52-41.
Thirds Nation traveled north to take on the Titans of Wilbraham Monson Academy and came away with a 52-41 victory. Although it was a double digit win in the end, the Titans put up quite a fight, refusing to quit, until the Cats put the game away in the closing minutes. The first half was all Ross Kowalsky, as he tallied 11 consecutive points to give CA a solid ten point half-time lead. The Cats came out strong to begin the second half, only to have the Titans cut the lead to seven with five minutes remaining, putting a scare into Thirds Nation, but not enough to turn the tide. Brandt Weed had his best game of the season with 8 points and 10 rebounds, while Austin Jellison also finished with 8 points, including three key free throws with the game on the line. It was a true team victory as Thirds Nation improves their record to 4-3 with rival Choate next up on Friday.
