    Team Philosophy
The Cheshire Academy basketball philosophy is simple: recruit the best student-athletes possible, involve them in the entire school community, foster a team environment, and watch them experience success. Our mission is to prepare our student-athletes to be successful academically and athletically at division I, II, & III programs across the nation.

    Team History
Basketball at Cheshire Academy has a rich tradition of annually producing highly competitive teams. The team has two NEPSAC Class BB titles and Final Four appearances since joining the Class AA in 2015. Cheshire Academy basketball players have gone on to play at a number of highly impressive colleges and universities, including: Louisville, Tufts, Binghamton, Bentley, Bowdoin, Pittsburgh, CCSU, UNLV, St. Johns, Drew, Washington State, Florida State, Babson, Notre Dame, Alleghany, UMASS -Lowell, UDC, Univerisity of San Diego, Duquesne, Hawaii Pacific, Trinity, Holy Cross, University of Penn, Hofstra, Siena, and Alabama.

    Season Outlook
The recruiting class has brought in size, point guard play, and depth on the wings. By committing to playing great defense, sharing the ball, and make every decision the best one for Cheshire Academy, the team will be a great position to compete for the New England Class AA title.

Cheshire Academy plays in the New England Prep School Athletic Conference. The NEPSAC is viewed by many recruiting analysts as the top prep league in the country. Cheshire Academy plays in the “AA” division. Our schedule includes some of the top programs in the region, regardless of division. The schedule is designed to get our player's maximum exposure to college coaches and prepare ourselves for the NEPSAC Tournament.
