    Millbrook would open the scoring in the 8th minute. The Cats would be down 1 at half. The second half with the Cats pressing Millbrook would slot home two more late in the second. Will Tevie'19, Theo Honey'19 Marco Barsosi '19 Russ Tevie'19 and Luca Mazzella '19 would anchor the Cats. Owen Kempton '19 and Lucas Alfiate '19 would combine for 13 saves.

    Team Philosophy
    Soccer players who make the varsity program are driven through a supportive team atmosphere to compete at the highest level, while acting as role model student-athletes within the community. Those dedicated enough may earn the opportunity to play collegiate soccer. In the past five seasons 19 boys have earned offers from colleges.

    Team History
    Cheshire Academy graduates recently have gone on to play at such schools as St John’s University, Bryant University, Earlham College, St. Joseph University,University of New Haven, Lesley, Emmanuel College, WPI and Clark.

    Season Outlook                                                          
    This season's squad will be looking to build upon recent success. The Academy is part of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), an organization of athletic directors from accredited New England independent schools. Opponents include:  Brunswick School, Suffield Academy, Pomfret School, Wilbraham & Monson Academy, South Kent Prep School, Williston Northampton School, The Gunnery, Hopkins, Kingswood Oxford School, and Canterbury School.
